I think I enjoy the fact that the battles themselves are used mainly for eye candy action scenes, and that there is an actual story going behind, instead of the game being the entire story plot for each episode. A refreshing take on things.

Although I'm still a bit lost on who Sakura was, as she does not seemed to be involved in the Teruto Kikka storyline at all

I almost kinda feel bad for Teruto with the type of opponents he's had to face in this series, including this episode. At least he plays confidentally against Kikka.

We got a pretty intense fight this episode too. Kikka really is no joke, but a bit psychotic

Teruto is being targeted by the enemy he is literally being manipulated like the own Kikka.

The letters of Kikka are very similar to the bloom same.

Selector infected WIXOSS (first Wixoss anime) was a great card game anime maybe except the final resolution, despite the fact that it did not give a shit about the game itself (e.g. explaining the rules, playing the game like the real life counterpart they are promoting). This at least has battles and reading the card's abilities at least

Interesting to learn the truth regarding Neo Kyoto, quite the messed up scenario using the King's lives to process the data to run the virtual reality. It'll be interesting to see how Teruto will deal with Higuma since he's got control over the virtual reality, right?

So it's all the matrix, and Teruto now has to save Kikka before she is killed by it? Also wow, Kikka is being a super mega yandere over this, calm down girl.

Also, I guess the ending is that Teruto will take over as King, and the other chars will take over as MCs and probably go to another server or go out and see the real world while Teruto maintains the server for them. Or the whole magic thing is used to make a twist and we get Bloom talking about how she planned everything and will use Teruto to go to other worlds and stuff.

A bit of Teruto's mystery was solved in this episode which is already a good one, the battles never disappoint with Teruto's knowledge of previous matches.

Damn this got a hole more confusing and sci-fi related, i mean i did think something was wrong with kikka being a sleep in cables all the time but for it to be a hole virtual city '-'. Teruto sure didn't seem like going to forgive her in like the hole 10 episodes lol he kept saying "i hate you, or i will defeat you ...." but whatever.

kikka's voice changing for a maniac to a saint to a little kid is amazing one of the best I've seen in anime so far

Surprised I'm still enjoying it, but this show is still entertaining and good mindless fun. As we suspected the city isn't real and they are using humans like lightbulbs in the matrix.

Me too, i never thought it would actually be this fun and entertaining.

Damn Teruto imouto is a crazy yandere person who wants his soul holy hell! So suspenseful on final episode till season 2 which has been already marked on!

Out of all matches of this series, this match gives me goosebumps.

This shit is absolutely fucked and I'm loving every second of it. These twists, the drama, the battles... it just keeps getting better every week, and there's so many places this story can go next week and in the second cour. It's a damn shame that more people aren't watching this. If it can keep up this momentum and not fall off in the second half like some others have (cough)Arc-V(cough)WIXOSS(cough) I think Build Divide has the potential to be best card game anime of all time when it's all said and done.

What a waste of 1st 10 minutes just showing us Teruto's flashback. Or else we could see the full time battle and Teruto's Winning in this episode we could get final episode just as happy ending with Sakura.
